Wine House Kitchen
really wonderful
Had a really wonderful dinner here. The space is lovely with large windows and a very open feel, and it’s quite tasteful without being overly trendy or minimalist. And the food is excellent–standouts included the Banh Mi Fries, Seafood Cocktail, Grilled Venison Chop, and Lemongrass & Turmeric Pork Flat Iron. The Bijou cocktail was fantastic, and no surprise that the wine is well-curated. Looking forward to returning!
Fantastic place
Fantastic place right on top of the wine store. The location is weird, but in a way also quintessentially LA. The concept of the restaurant is simple: very good food, great wine list in a simple and yet refined environment. All managed very well. We had a great night and we are looking forward to going back.
pleasant surprise
Tucked away on a totally random corner by the 405, the ambiance of this restaurant is a pleasant surprise. We went for a birthday dinner for 6 and enjoyed all of our food thoroughly. We ordered a bottle and brought a bottle (they waive the corkage fee if you order one there), which was a nice way to save a little on drinks.
great meal
We had a great meal here with our friends. The cocktails are really great which we enjoyed with the cheese platter. We decided to try several dishes and share. The duck bao was fantastic and the calamari one of the best we have ever had. The Banh mi fries are not to be missed. And the lemongrass and tumeric pork with lettuce wraps was innovative and fun to share and delicious.
