Cadence
buffalo oyster
Cadence is the perfect intersection of casual and upscale! The vibes are immaculate inside, cozy and a great playlist fr. The food was the best part of the experience, followed closely by the service. Our waitress was super cognizant of my allergies and gave great suggestions. I highly recommend the buffalo oyster mushroom sandwich!!
well curated
Excellent dinner in the comfortable, heated outdoor shed at Cadence. The menu and wine list are short but well curated. Four of us shared 7 beautifully presented plates and it was more than enough. We especially enjoyed the pretzel bun sandwiches and black eyed pea pancake.
fantastic
I participated in the Dinner and Wine series. The wines were from the Brown Estate Winery. The wines were fantastic. very light and not overpowering. The food served were great choices. Awesome place and the food is superb! It is a must try if you are in NYC looking for vegan.
watching Tabitha Brown
I found this place after watching Tabitha Brown do a review of it on Instagram. One of my good friends is vegan, so I surprised her and took her here. Now for myself, someone who is not vegan, I enjoyed myself so much that I’m making reservations to go back and try what we didn’t have! We ordered the deep fried lasagna, smoked grits, fried okra, street corn, & the cornbread! I loved our service and also enjoyed getting a brief description of our food Before we ate it. The service was quick and we were in and out. I love the fact that it’s black owned and easy to get to.
