Hutong New York
best Szechuan food
The best Szechuan food I have ever eaten. It’s also the most expensive Szechuan food I have ever eaten. But hey, if you’ve got the cash and you love the way your mouth goes numb when you eat Szechuan peppercorns, then come on down to Huton.
Wild Mushroom Bao was good
Had a few descent items. The Truffle Shitake and Wild Mushroom Bao was good; it’s actually shaped like a mushroom. The Mapo Tofu was descent and Fried Noodles was underwhelming. The dessert was great; we ordered the Childhood, which is vanilla ice cream with maple granola.
soft shell crab
Beijing duck is not that bad. Not recommend 2 people go there as the portion is pretty large. The soft shell crab 🦀 is not bad but better just eat one per person, otherwise would feel a bit oily. …
Lovely ambiance
Lovely ambiance, amazing design and very attentive staff. The food was good, modern and visual, however it would need a little more seasoning & perfecting. The dessert was the highlight of the experience… a must !
