Poet Boutique Restaurant

It was very impressive when we got there. it has a pleasant, soothing ambience,well decorated. We got the table straight away as we prebooked. After giving order, children went out to play in the park. We got our order after 30-35 mints. They presented it very well. Until now, everything was awosome.
Dumphut pulao was cold. Sent back to heat it up, even though taste wasn’t up to the mark.
BBQ was good.
Chinuoti Ghost was good in taste.
Its a good place for a commercial gathering or party. But if you wanna enjoy food, wouldn’t recommend.

After hearing alot about this restaurant, I decide to give it a try. Its better to get a reservation beforehand considering the rush specially on weekends. Anyhow, the ambiance and being located in Greater Iqbal Park, the sorroundings are simply awesome. The dancing fountains coupled with beautifully laid pathways are mesmerising. Coming over to the food, in my opinion the food was great, from bbq to mutton handi and plum sauce to salads, everything was perfect and service was quick. The reason for giving them 4 stars is mainly due to under performing air conditioners. If you are charging an exorbitant amount of money then the environment should be perfect. Though after talking to their administration, the issue was resolved, yet it shouldn’t have been there in the first place. Anyhow, it was a good experience overall. Recommended for families but prices are bit high.

It was a great experience dining at Poet Restaurant. Ambience was good. Inside dining has special royal feeling to it. Food taste was exquisite & delicious. Both managerial & serving staff were professional & well trained. I enjoyed it & will recommend to others aswell.

Highly expensive food but excellent experience. The ride to minar e pakistan was really enjoyable. The violinist was playing really good music, photographer was there, staff was friendly, food was also good…..great experience overall

The ambience and atmosphere at this place is great. We tried the lucknow nali which was nice but not great. We also had their khunna gosht which lacked in flavour. They said this is because it is a mughlai restaurant. Their should be flavour atleast to takle your taste buds.
I had to add more salt to make this more edible.

One of the best restaurants in Lahore located in greater Iqbal park near minar-e-Pakistan.
Food was good, service was also good, luxurious interior, Live music with food, historical background and ambiance is great.
