service was extremely slow
We went for brunch and were kind of disappointed.
The restaurant was not busy (two other tables inside + one outside) and there was a server and a server/bartender, yet service was extremely slow. Each item came out individually, which is fine, but there was a longish lull between “courses,” which was annoying. We even had to ask about one of our items, as it never came.
The food was beautiful, but inconsistent. The musubi was good, the poke was okay, the egg rolls were cold, the shrimp was good, and the chicken sandwich was chewy.
really enjoyed our food
Came here on restaurant week to try out their food with a group of friends and all of us really enjoyed our food here. My fav were the truffle tortellini (just look at the amount of truffles there are in my photo!), the dessert and the drinks!
highly recommended.
Came here during restaurant week and WOW all of the food was so tasty. You get so much food and it all tasted so good. The ambiance in the restaurant was also fun and quirky. I’d recommend making reservations, because it’s a small space and very popular. Will definitely be going back!
Very good selection of wines
Love this spot! Went during restaurant week and was so worth. Great east village vibes. Delightful Hawaiian and asian inspired dishes served in a cozy dining room. Service was warm and attentive. All our dishes were delicious. Very good selection of wines. Will definitely go back.
