La Lucha
Great place
Great place to get some very good food. If you remember the San Jacinto Inn then you will want to go here, it is a nice take on that place. The staff was very nice and the inside looked very cool. The Tacos are like Jack in the box ones but with shrimp. I will be going back to try out other items later.
beautifully decorated
Very cute, cozy and beautifully decorated. You walk in and greeted by a pleasant host clean and tended to restrooms and a just big enough patio and bar area. We came in around noon on Sunday for brunch and we walked right in and were seated and they do encourage to make reservations during busy hours. We ordered for starters deviled eggs and they were on point. Ordered roasted oysters half Jalapeño and half Parmesan. Half fried chicken and biscuits which was Devine and a waffle on the side was amaze. We also shared the Brussels sprouts which to me were similar to Mexican roasted corn and we added the fried Gulf shrimp. Everything was delicious and will be back!! Thank you Sam our waiter.
It looked amazing
The oysters were really good. And the dumplings!! It was spicy and flavorful! The fish was great too. The shrimp could’ve used a bit more seasoning, but it was cooked well. The Margarita w/ tajin was really good and had a smoky flavor. Will be back to try the fried chicken. It looked amazing!!
