Doris Metropolitan

First time eating here. It was truly an amazing experience, great service, and wonderful food. Server made sure to help me with recommendations since I have a dairy allergy. We will certainly be back. Great for romantic date night and cozy dinner with friends and family.

Houston is a steak town in the steak state, and Doris Metropolitan has earned its spot in the fraternity. Service was top notch, from the greeting to our server Jesus. So many flavor bombs! The bar was also stocked!

Incredible service. Actually, the best service in Houston. The food is great, really well done, but the service is what makes this place special. I worked in restaurants for 8 years, the amount of discipline it takes to perform like this team, in a busy place with this level of food quality and diversity is quite impressive. I’d give six stars if I could.

We had a wonderful time at Doris Metropolitan. Our steaks were so tasty (American Wagyu and bone-in strip). The tomato salad, truffle fries, root puree, and asparagus were delicious. Their bread is AWESOME. The service was extremely professional, and our dessert (brulee to go) was very pretty.

I was invited here by my employer for a dinner. It is probably the fanciest place I have ever been to. Spectacular service. Nice environment. They have a private room that was quiet. They are a steak house so they only had 1 fish item on the menu and no chicken. I unfortunately do not eat beef so I ate the fish and it was very delicious. The asparagus and mushrooms were fantastic. I can’t even remember everything I ate and everything was good. The lavender lemon cocktail was perfect. Loved it. The staff was perfection. So knowledgeable!
